Evergreen School District is facing a significant enrollment decline. Consequently, we are in the process of forming a Facilities Advisory Committee. This committee will be charged with looking at all district schools, their capacity, projected enrollment, boundaries, etc. and making a recommendation to the Board about how we might maximize the use of our facilities to both serve the community and perhaps generate revenue.
We have solicited committee members but are still in need of someone who meets the following category:
Persons with expertise in environmental impact, legal contracts, building codes, and land use planning, including, but not limited to, knowledge of the zoning and other land use restrictions of the city or cities and counties in which surplus space and real property is located.
We are also looking for 3 additional members to serve as alternates to the committee.
